During a walk of exactly 4,500 steps in Seattle, Washington, the Fitbit Air was only 12 steps away from the manual count. The Apple Watch SE 3 was slightly less accurate, missing the mark by 37 steps. However, the SE 3 did provide a closer pace calculation compared to the Fitbit Air.
While the Apple Watch SE 3 offers extensive smartwatch features and onboard GPS, the Fitbit Air excels as a dedicated, affordable fitness tracker. The Air's heart rate data also showed discrepancies, potentially due to wear tightness. Despite its higher cost and more features, the Apple Watch SE 3 was edged out in accuracy by the simpler Fitbit Air.
