Ferrari is poised to reintroduce the legendary Testarossa nameplate with the 849 model, set for a global debut in 2025. This new iteration is scheduled for an Indian launch in March 2026, succeeding the SF90 Stradale and carrying a price tag of Rs 10.37 crore (ex-showroom).
The 2025 Ferrari Testarossa is a plug-in hybrid, combining a twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors to produce a formidable 1035hp. The V8 alone generates 819hp, complemented by 217hp from the electric motors. Two front-mounted motors facilitate torque vectoring, while a third assists at higher speeds. The vehicle offers an EV-only range of up to 24.9 km.
Performance figures are remarkable, with the Testarossa accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.2 seconds and reaching 200 kmph in 6.3 seconds. Its top speed surpasses 330 kmph. Both coupe and Spider variants utilize an eight-speed dual-clutch F1 gearbox. The design draws inspiration from 1970s sports prototypes and features geometric lines and a cab-forward profile, distinct from the SF90 and Daytona SP3.
