The electric Range Rover offers a compelling alternative to expensive restomod conversions, providing modern safety features and OEM support.
This new EV features a powertrain designed for efficiency and performance, including dual permanent-magnet synchronous motors delivering a combined 542 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle utilizes an 800-volt architecture with an 118.5 kWh battery pack, achieving an estimated 333 miles of range on a full charge. Fast charging capabilities allow for 125 miles of range in just 10 minutes at 350 kW.
Designed to be a Range Rover first and an EV second, the electric model maintains a similar exterior appearance with subtle aerodynamic enhancements. The interior prioritizes tranquility, benefiting from the quiet operation of electric motors and an active noise cancellation system. Despite its 6,195 lb curb weight, the electric Range Rover retains impressive on-road comfort and off-road capability, with a lower center of gravity and advanced torque management systems supporting its legendary go-anywhere prowess.
