Internet outages have surged recently, impacting businesses that rely on constant connectivity. To address this, Eero has introduced Eero Signal, a cellular backup device designed to integrate with its mesh Wi-Fi systems. This device automatically provides a 4G LTE internet connection when the primary wired service goes down, ensuring business operations continue uninterrupted.
Setup is straightforward for existing Eero users. Simply plug Eero Signal into a compatible Eero device and follow in-app instructions. Once connected, Eero Signal monitors your primary connection and switches to cellular backup automatically during outages. When service is restored, it returns to standby mode, ready for future disruptions.
Eero Signal is compatible with specific Eero devices, including USB-C-powered Wi-Fi 6 (or greater) models and the Eero PoE Gateway. Two subscription plans are available for cellular connectivity. The device comes with a three-year warranty and access to Eero's customer support resources.
