The Ecovacs Winbot W2S Pro Omni represents a significant upgrade to the company's midrange window-cleaning robots. This new model incorporates battery power, allowing for cordless operation, and boasts a 10,000Pa suction power, a substantial increase from its predecessor. It is designed to clean approximately one square meter of window space in 1 minute and 30 seconds.
The W2S Pro Omni features an improved design with enhanced edge-cleaning capabilities and felt pads that help lift the robot, preventing dirt from being pushed to the edges. It can now detect all window edges, including frameless glass. The accompanying base station includes four scrubbers for automatic pad cleaning between uses.
This robot is priced at $600 and is currently available for purchase. While effective for large windows, users with smaller panes might find the setup and repositioning cumbersome. Previous models experienced minor issues with tapered frames and occasional streaking.
