DJI's Osmo Action 6 is pushing the boundaries of action cameras, moving beyond simple "set it and forget it" functionality. It introduces advanced features like a variable aperture, ranging from f/2.0 to f/4.0, allowing users to control light intake and background blur. This innovation, coupled with a new 1/1.1-inch square sensor, positions the camera for more discerning videographers seeking greater creative control and flexibility.

The camera boasts a 1/1.1-inch square sensor, which facilitates easier cropping for various aspect ratios, a feature reminiscent of smartphone camera advancements.
