Disney's AI Chatbot Plans Your Magical Vacation

Disney is introducing a new artificial intelligence tool to enhance vacation planning. This AI engine, which will soon launch in beta, is designed to run on Disney's booking site and app. Guests can ask questions conversationally, such as seeking hotel recommendations based on family preferences and proximity to parks. The AI will also facilitate comparisons between resorts based on features like location and pricing. Disney stated that the chatbot is built on Google's Gemini technology but will exclusively draw information from official Disney data sources. This new feature will initially be available only for Walt Disney World, with a beta test rolling out to randomly selected guests in Canada and the United States. Feedback from this beta phase will be used to refine the tool before a broader, phased release. Disney is also testing the AI summaries with its staff to ensure accuracy.
