Discord has unveiled its inaugural year-end review feature, dubbed 'Checkpoint,' offering users a comprehensive look at their 2025 digital interactions. This personalized recap details message volume, voice channel engagement, preferred emojis, and top direct message conversations. It provides users with a unique Avatar Decoration, usable until January 15, 2026, adding a novel way to showcase their platform activity.

The Checkpoint feature is accessible through the latest Discord app updates, with a flag icon on desktop and a banner in the 'You' tab on mobile. Users who haven't met minimum activity thresholds or have disabled data personalization settings may not see their recap. The platform reported that the red heart emoji was the most frequently used in 2025, followed by folded hands, sob, joy, and fire emojis.

Further insights from the recap highlight dominant gaming trends, with League of Legends maintaining its top position for over sixteen years. Popular game-specific servers for Minecraft, Genshin Impact, and Marvel Rivals were also recognized. Users can compare their personal gaming habits with these platform-wide trends, as the Checkpoint feature displays their top five most-played games.
