21 Oct
Summary
- Dell Pro Precision offers Nvidia GB10 Superchip at a lower cost.
- Save over $1,000 compared to the Nvidia DGX Spark model.
- Ideal for AI engineers running large local models efficiently.
For AI professionals requiring substantial local processing power, the Dell Pro Precision with the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip emerges as a compelling alternative to the Nvidia DGX Spark. This Dell machine delivers equivalent performance to Nvidia's compact supercomputer but at a significantly reduced price point.
Nvidia's DGX Spark is currently fetching prices upwards of $6,950, with third-party resellers listing it at even higher figures. In contrast, Dell's Pro Precision is available for $5,903, and can be further reduced to $5,523 with a 1TB SSD. This presents a saving of at least $1,047 compared to purchasing directly from Nvidia.
The Dell Pro Precision is equipped with the same GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip and 128GB of LPDDR5x memory as the DGX Spark, making it perfectly suited for intensive AI tasks. Its specifications are ideal for local AI inferencing and development. Users are advised to consider the 1TB or 2TB SSD configurations, as the 4TB model significantly increases the overall cost.
