Family & Couples Plans Added to Identity Theft Protection
10 Sep
Summary
- Coveron now offers family and couples plans for identity theft protection.
- Plans cover unlimited children and up to five adults.
- Service includes up to $2 million in reimbursement for identity theft.

Coveron has expanded its identity theft protection services with the recent addition of family and couples plans. Previously only available for individual subscriptions, these new options became available on August 17. The family plan accommodates up to five adults and any number of children under 18, while the couples plan is designed for two adults, both also covering unlimited children.
Each member on these plans receives comprehensive benefits, including up to $2 million in reimbursement for eligible identity theft costs and professional recovery support. Additional coverage includes cyber insurance up to $50,000 for extortion and $25,000 for home title fraud. The service also provides dark web monitoring, credit monitoring, criminal records monitoring, and malware breach alerts, alongside NordVPN and Incogni.
The introduction of child identity theft protection is particularly significant, as children's credit histories are often unmonitored. LSEG research indicates a 40% rise in child identity theft over the past three years, with one in 50 children affected annually. Coveron's managing director noted that children and elderly family members may have less awareness or ability to safeguard their information. Unlike shared streaming services, Coveron ensures privacy among members, with only the main account holder accessing children's data.
Coveron's expanded plans are currently available in the United States, its territories, and the District of Columbia, with exclusions for New York residents. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to these new family and couples plans, mirroring the policy for individual subscriptions.
