CMF has unveiled its first portable speakers, uniquely designed to resemble vibrant milk cartons. Available now, the CMF Speaker S is priced at $59, while the larger Speaker M costs $109. These compact audio devices come in orange, turquoise, and white, featuring customizable control knobs and easily attachable loops for portability.
Both speaker models are equipped with Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and carry an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. CMF claims an impressive playback time of up to 18 hours on a single charge. The speakers utilize USB-C for charging, which can also function as an audio input. Additionally, they support advanced pairing technologies like NFC, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair.
A notable feature for their price point is the ability to pair two identical speakers together, though mixing an S and an M is not supported. Both models also feature Auracast technology, allowing for broader audio broadcasting. CMF plans to release design files, enabling users to 3D print custom accessories, echoing a similar approach seen in Teenage Engineering products.
