Clicks Technology is reintroducing the physical keyboard experience for modern smartphones with its new Power Keyboard accessory. This add-on snaps to the back of iPhones (12 or later) and Google Pixel 10 devices, offering a slide-out QWERTY keypad. Beyond typing, it integrates a 2,150mAh battery pack, ensuring devices stay powered throughout the day. The accessory supports MagSafe and Qi2, allowing for versatile attachment and enabling apps to run edge-to-edge on the display.
The Power Keyboard aims to provide fast, confident typing, a contrast to the often frustrating virtual keyboards. Users can customize keyboard behavior and backlighting via a dedicated app. The built-in battery can also charge the connected phone. Clicks is currently accepting preorders for the Power Keyboard, with a planned spring launch, available at an early-bird price of $79.
In a separate offering, Clicks is also introducing the Communicator, an Android 15 smartphone designed to streamline work communication and minimize social media distractions. This device features a touch-sensitive keyboard, a unique notification system with signal lights, and a 'Prompt Key' for voice messages. The Communicator is priced at $399 and is expected to ship later this year.
