Summary
- CarPlay and Android Auto are now available on select MasterCraft boats.
- Savvy Navvy app provides marine navigation features.
- New Crest and Balise models will feature this integration next month.

MasterCraft Boat Holdings has announced that Apple's CarPlay and Android Auto will now be integrated into select pontoon boats, marking a significant expansion of these platforms beyond road navigation. This new feature will be available on new pontoon models from MasterCraft's sub-brands, Crest and Balise, starting next month.
The integration relies on the Savvy Navvy app, which has been specifically adapted for marine use. It offers comprehensive navigation tools including 2D and 3D charts, smart routing capabilities, and search functions for essential locations like marinas and harbors. Users can expect features such as live Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) updates, real-time boat traffic information, and live location sharing.
Savvy Navvy CEO Jelte Liebrand expressed enthusiasm, noting that boaters have long desired advanced infotainment systems. The app will serve as the default navigation solution on compatible helm displays for Balise and Crest models. Users simply need to connect their smartphones, similar to car integrations. Purchasers of these boats will receive access to Savvy Navvy Premium features.
While Crest and Balise are the initial brands to feature Savvy Navvy as standard on their 2027 models, the app is compatible with any suitable marine display, including aftermarket units. The Savvy Navvy app is currently available for both iOS and Android devices.
