Canon is commemorating 30 years since its first PowerShot camera release with a special, limited edition of the PowerShot G7 X III. This updated compact camera arrives in a sophisticated graphite finish, featuring a knurled front ring and a 30th-anniversary logo to signify its collectible status.
The PowerShot G7 X III, initially popular for vlogging and direct YouTube streaming, retains its 20.1MP sensor, 24-100mm zoom lens, and 4K video capabilities. The limited edition model is priced at $1,299 and includes a Peak Design wrist strap and a 32GB SD card, with shipping expected to commence in April 2026.
Alongside the camera, Canon also introduced two new RF-mount full-frame lenses. These include the ultra-wide RF 14mm f/1.4 L VCM prime lens for $2,599 and the distinctive RF7-14mm f/2.8-3.5 L Fisheye STM zoom lens for $1,899, offering wide-angle perspectives.
