In its most capable electric configuration, it achieves an impressive CLTC range of up to 590 miles. The rear-wheel-drive version utilizes a 130.15 kWh Blade Battery pack for extended journeys.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant significantly boosts performance, producing 585 kW and accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in approximately 3.9 seconds. This version offers a CLTC range of around 528 miles.
BYD will also offer plug-in hybrid versions: the DM-i, with up to 213 miles of electric-only range, and the DM-p, focusing on dynamic driving characteristics and blended power. The Great Tang is positioned to compete with models like the Geely Galaxy M9.
