Brinc has unveiled the Guardian, a groundbreaking public safety drone positioned as a potential replacement for police helicopters. This new drone is engineered for formidable performance, capable of reaching speeds up to 60 mph with an extended flight time of 62 minutes.
Equipped with advanced imaging technology, the Guardian features thermal cameras and two 4K cameras with zoom capabilities, allowing for detailed observation from significant altitudes. It also includes a spotlight and a speaker that can surpass the volume of a police siren.
A key innovation is the Guardian's integrated Starlink panel, making it the first public safety drone with satellite internet connectivity. This feature ensures the drone can operate anywhere globally, offering unlimited range.
The company sees a substantial market opportunity, estimating the public safety drone sector to be worth $6 billion to $8 billion. Brinc aims to become a leading drone manufacturer for the Western world, especially following recent U.S. import bans on foreign-made drones.
