Boeing and its subsidiary Millennium Space Systems are enhancing production capabilities to meet a rising backlog of satellite orders. The aerospace firms aim to deliver 26 satellites in 2026, a substantial jump from the four scheduled for 2025. This expansion is fueled by the increasing reliance on satellite infrastructure across defense and global internet connectivity industries.

Central to this strategy is the introduction of 'Resolute,' a new mid-class satellite platform. Boeing states this platform is engineered for missions needing more capacity than traditional small satellites, offering greater speed and flexibility than larger programs. The company plans to invest in integrating its products with Millennium's offerings to streamline and boost overall production efficiency.
