The Best Foldable Phone of 2026? Motorola Wins!

The highly anticipated iPhone Duo has launched, facing stiff competition from established players like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. Initial inventory issues and shipping delays have plagued the Duo's availability, yet early reception is strong.

In direct comparisons, the iPhone Duo showcases a brighter display, superior chipset performance, and a significant camera advantage over the Galaxy Z Fold 8. However, Samsung's foldable leads in AI capabilities with Google Gemini and offers advanced multitasking with Samsung DeX.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, priced at $2,099, delivers an elite camera system with 3x optical zoom and exceptional battery life powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. Its display is noted as the brightest ever measured on a smartphone.

The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold, while featuring unique software like Rambler dictation, lags behind in design, battery endurance, and overall performance, making it the least recommended option among the reviewed foldables.

Motorola's Razr Fold presents compelling value at $1,899, featuring a large 6,000 mAh battery for extended endurance and 512GB of storage. Its AI-enhanced 3x telephoto shots rivaling higher-spec competitors and robust desktop mode via Smart Connect make it a strong contender.

For those invested in Apple's ecosystem, the iPhone Duo is a solid choice. However, for platform-agnostic buyers seeking the best return on a $2,000 investment, the Motorola Razr Fold is recommended for its battery life, storage, and camera processing.
