At CES 2026, Belkin has launched the ConnectAir Wireless HDMI Display Adapter, a groundbreaking device designed for seamless screen sharing without relying on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. This plug-and-play system allows users to cast content from laptops, tablets, or smartphones to any display up to 131 feet away. The adapter includes a USB-C transmitter and a USB-A to HDMI receiver, promising a convenient solution for wireless content projection.
The ConnectAir Wireless supports 1080p resolution at 60Hz, delivering clear visuals with latency under 80ms. It is compatible with a wide range of USB-C devices that support DisplayPort Alt Mode, including various laptops, tablets like the iPad Pro and Air, and smartphones capable of video output. This broad compatibility ensures that most modern devices can utilize the system effectively.
Belkin also highlighted the ConnectAir's capability for multi-user screen sharing, allowing up to eight transmitters to connect simultaneously. While not yet available for purchase, the adapter is expected to be released early this year.
