New Beats 360 Headphones Imminent After Firmware Update
10 Sep
Summary
- Beats 360 headphones firmware update suggests imminent September release.
- Apple's Beats sub-brand operates independently from major product events.
- Previous Beats product launches suggest a late September or early October window.
New Beats 360 headphones are anticipated to launch later in September, following a recent firmware update for the unannounced product. This update, discovered by MacRumors, suggests Apple is preparing for the release of the Beats 360, which have been seen in circulation for months, notably with soccer players.
While Apple held its major product unveiling event on September 9, this does not preclude a separate Beats launch. The Beats brand typically maintains independence, making a concurrent announcement unlikely but a later September release entirely feasible.
Beats' last product introduction was the Powerbeats Fit in October 2025. This historical pattern might indicate a similar late September or early October timeframe for the Beats 360, and potentially other unannounced Beats devices.
