Audiovector has introduced its latest floor-standing loudspeaker, the R 5 Arreté, a piece of Danish design and engineering. Each unit is meticulously hand-crafted, featuring a distinctive fin-shaped wooden cabinet available in several premium finishes, including African Mahogany, Italian Walnut, White Silk, and Black Piano.
The R 5 Arreté is engineered for exceptional sound quality, incorporating three 6.5-inch carbon drivers utilizing the brand's Accelerated Force Concept to minimize driver inertia. These drivers are dedicated to different frequency ranges, complemented by a separate tweeter for high frequencies.
This loudspeaker is designed for optimal performance with various amplifiers, featuring a unique three-position damping adjustment. The R 5 Arreté is now available for purchase, with a price tag of £17,500 (approximately $23,600 or AU$32,860).
