This initiative marks a significant pivot from its previous Digital Life service, now featuring partnerships with tech giants Google and Abode. Customers can choose between two kit options, available through monthly subscriptions or upfront payment, which include various Google smart home products and essential security components. The service integrates with the Google Home app but allows users to manage all devices solely through the Connected Life app. Subscription tiers offer features like extended video history and intelligent alerts, with a premium plan providing 24/7 professional monitoring for emergency dispatch.

Key to Connected Life's offering is its robust backup system. It includes cellular backup, enabling devices to maintain connectivity via a smartphone hotspot if home internet fails.
