Ather Energy has launched its new electric scooter, the Konarc, built on the EL platform and designed for the Indian market. This scooter introduces a host of technology-focused features, including Ather's in-house Advanced Electronic Braking System (AeBS) which dynamically adjusts braking force based on road conditions using software and sensors.
Convenience is enhanced with MagicKey for keyless access, automatic locking, remote location, and seat unlocking. The AirWalk feature assists in manually moving the scooter, ideal for tight parking spots. Charging is simplified with integrated onboard and optional offboard chargers combining for 900W, halving home charging duration.
The Konarc is available in six variants across S and Z lines, offering ranges from 100 km to 200 km. Priced starting at ₹99,999 for the S 100 km variant, it aims to offer competitive value. Bookings for certain variants commence in mid-September.
Further enhancing its appeal, the Konarc doubles the service interval to 10,000 km. All variants are equipped with Ather's fifth-generation Bedrock battery, backed by an impressive 10-year or 1,00,000-km warranty, guaranteeing at least 70% state-of-health.
