Summary
- New hinge design drastically reduces gap between dual 3K OLED displays.
- Features a larger 99Whr battery in a smaller overall footprint.

ASUS introduced a significant overhaul of its dual-screen Zenbook Duo at CES 2026, showcasing enhancements aimed at improving user experience. A key innovation is the new "hideaway" hinge, which allows the laptop to lay flat and reduces the space between the two 144Hz 3K Lumina Pro OLED displays by 70 percent.
The second-generation Zenbook Duo features a larger 99Whr battery, yet its overall footprint is five percent smaller than its predecessor, maintaining its portability at 3.6 pounds. Connectivity is robust, including Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB-A connector, and HDMI 2.1. The device also supports stylus input for creative tasks.
Internally, the laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 9 H-series processors, paired with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. ASUS has also increased the TDP to 45 watts, promising enhanced performance. Pricing and availability are yet to be announced, but it is expected to launch later this year.
