ASUS commemorates the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) sub-brand with the ROG Ally X20. This special edition handheld gaming PC features an upgraded 7.4-inch 1080p 120Hz OLED display, offering a 1,400-nit peak brightness and AMD Freesync Premium Pro. The device showcases a translucent black chassis with gold accents, highlighting its internal components.
The ROG Ally X20 incorporates new TMR joystick technology for enhanced precision and a Transforming D-Pad. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, supporting demanding games and features like Auto SR preview.
Included with the handheld are ROG Xreal R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR glasses. These glasses provide a virtual 171-inch screen experience at 4 meters with a 240Hz refresh rate. While pricing and launch details are not yet available, its components suggest a premium collector's item likely to be priced significantly.
