Woot is currently hosting a sale on art-focused 4K televisions from Samsung and Hisense, running until June 26th. The 65-inch Hisense CanvasTV is priced at $779.99, its lowest point this year, while Samsung's Frame TV is available from $587.99. Both models excel at displaying artwork with realistic clarity on their matte screens. The Hisense CanvasTV comes with over 1,000 artworks and a magnetic bezel, whereas Samsung's Frame TV offers optional bezels and art subscriptions at extra cost.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these TVs are also capable performers for entertainment and gaming. They feature a 144Hz variable refresh rate for smooth motion, although some smaller Frame models have a lower rate. Connectivity differs, with the Samsung Frame TV providing four HDMI 2.1 ports compared to the Hisense CanvasTV's two. However, the CanvasTV utilizes the user-friendly Google TV interface, a contrast to Samsung's Tizen OS. Both sets support voice controls via Google Assistant and Alexa, along with Apple AirPlay.
