This potential shift follows the notable sales boost seen from the bolder 'Cosmic Orange' option, informally dubbed 'Hermès orange,' which has become a status symbol in Chinese markets. The company is exploring this vibrant shade as a flagship color for future Pro iterations.

While purple and brown hues were also rumored, they might simply be variations of the primary red. The choice of red could strategically appeal to the Chinese market, where the color signifies luck and prosperity. It's worth noting that Apple has offered red iPhones before, primarily through its Product (RED) initiative, with models like the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus featuring deep red tones.
