The upcoming smart glasses, codenamed N50, are expected to feature vertically oriented oval lenses and surrounding lights. They will compete with existing smart glasses by offering advanced photo and video capture capabilities.
Enhanced synchronization with the iPhone is a key focus, aiming to integrate seamlessly with the Apple ecosystem for tasks like editing, sharing, managing calls, and utilizing the voice assistant.
An improved Siri, anticipated with iOS 27, may coincide with the smart glasses' debut. Apple could unveil these devices by the end of 2026 or early 2027, with a market release targeted for 2027.
The company is also exploring a variety of color options, including black, ocean blue, and light brown for its new eyewear.
