Apple's MacBooks Get Touchscreen Surprise!

Apple is anticipated to launch a MacBook Pro equipped with a touchscreen, a first for the Mac lineup. This development represents a significant shift, as Apple executives have previously voiced criticisms against touchscreen laptops. The unveiling is happening at an event in Los Angeles, deviating from the company's usual practice of hosting major announcements at Apple Park.

Unlike typical Apple keynotes, this event does not feature a public livestream and is being held at a separate venue. The atmosphere is described as more intimate, with a smaller press contingent present. This in-person-only format suggests a concise presentation, possibly similar to recent MacBook Neo launches that featured short keynotes followed by hands-on sessions.
