Apple Unfolds iPhone Duo: A Foldable Future!

Apple has officially announced the iPhone Duo, marking a significant departure with its first foldable design. This new device features a notably shorter and wider form factor, reminiscent of other foldable phones, but with Apple's signature rounded corners. When unfolded, it achieves a remarkable slimness, becoming Apple's thinnest iPhone to date at just 5.6mm.

The external display measures 5.4 inches, while the main internal folding screen expands to 7.8 inches. Apple is positioning the Duo as an ideal device for media consumption, gaming, and reading, offering an immersive experience enhanced by iOS 27, which has been specifically optimized for the larger display with features like a relocated dock.

For photographic capabilities, the iPhone Duo includes two rear cameras, one on the outer screen, and an under-display Face ID camera on the inner screen, notably omitting a telephoto lens. Additionally, the device will support an Apple Pencil for enhanced note-taking and drawing, though this feature will be available at a later date. Powered by the A20 chip, the iPhone Duo comes in Night Sky and Star White colorways.
