Victorian Radiator Becomes High-End Gaming PC
24 Feb
Summary
- A custom gaming PC is built inside a 100kg Victorian radiator.
- The system features 18 liters of water for effective cooling.
- It successfully passed intensive stress tests, maintaining low temperatures.

A striking custom gaming PC has been constructed using a large, antique Victorian radiator, resulting in a functional piece of art weighing close to 100 kilograms. This unique build by Billet Labs, a UK-based custom cooling specialist, preserves the classic aesthetic of the cast-iron design while integrating modern PC hardware. The system employs a water-cooling loop with 18 liters of water, circulated through copper pipes that enhance its steampunk appearance.
The internal components, including a Ryzen 9800X3D processor and an RTX 5080 graphics card, are mounted discreetly beneath the radiator. The construction process involved detailed 3D scanning and printing, alongside custom elements like a lever-style power button and a magnetic rust filter. Intensive stress testing demonstrated the cooling system's efficacy, with the water temperature reaching only 29.25 degrees Celsius after an hour of maximum load.
