- Feature is on by default, with privacy controls and auto-deletion.

A new feature is rolling out to Android phones that analyzes user habits and routines to offer proactive suggestions, reducing the time spent searching for specific actions or apps.
This feature, called 'Contextual suggestions,' can anticipate user needs. For example, it might predict the music playlist you want when you arrive at your gym. Initially appearing in a beta setting last year, it has recently been spotted on a Google Pixel 10. While exact compatibility details are pending, it is expected to function on many modern Android devices running the latest Google Play Services.
The feature is active by default, but users can disable it. It also allows management of data usage, such as location services, with assurances that data remains encrypted on the device and is not shared without consent. Collected data is automatically deleted after 60 days or can be manually removed by the user.
This initiative builds on Google's previous predictive services, like Magic Cue, which offered more in-depth assistance by monitoring on-phone activity to provide relevant information, such as flight details during calls with airlines.
