New Bug Cripples Android Auto for Samsung, Pixel Owners

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and some Pixel devices are experiencing significant connectivity problems with Android Auto following a recent update pushed out by Google. The issue manifests as frequent disconnections, preventing a stable connection for the in-car system. These problems reportedly started earlier this month. The bug appears to affect both wired and wireless connections, although wireless issues seem more prominent on the Galaxy S26.

Many users have voiced their frustration on support pages and online forums, with some considering returning their new devices. The exact cause remains unconfirmed, though theories suggest security features might be involved. Currently, neither Google nor Samsung has officially commented on the widespread disruption.

While a permanent solution is pending, several temporary workarounds have emerged.
