At CES 2026, AMD unveiled its Ryzen AI 400 processor series, engineered for AI-ready PCs and mini desktops. These new chips integrate "Zen 5" CPU cores, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and the XDNA 2 neural processor architecture, delivering up to 60 trillion AI operations per second (TOPS) on their top-tier models.
This advancement represents a notable increase from previous generations, positioning AMD competitively in the AI PC market, though behind Qualcomm's projected performance. The Ryzen AI 400 series promises substantial improvements in multitasking, content creation, and gaming performance, bolstered by technologies like AMD FSR and optimized graphics units.
