Alibaba has introduced an innovative solution with its Quark AI Glasses S1, now available in China. These smart glasses feature easily interchangeable batteries, a first for the market, designed to overcome this common limitation.
The Quark AI Glasses S1 are engineered to provide an extended usage duration, promising up to 24 hours of operation with the inclusion of an additional battery pack. Each pack offers approximately 12 hours of power. This approach bypasses the need for increasingly larger single batteries, which would add unwanted weight and size to the wearable device. Beyond their power solution, the glasses are equipped with micro OLED displays, cameras capable of 3K video capture with AI-enhanced 4K output, and a comprehensive set of smart features.
These features include a voice assistant, computer vision, real-time translation, navigation, transcription, and context-aware search. Integration with Alibaba's services further enhances their utility for music streaming, navigation, and online shopping. Alibaba also offers a non-display version, the G1, at a lower price point, making advanced smart glasses more accessible.
