Apple's New Earbuds Pack Health and Translation

Amazon is currently offering a significant 20% discount on Apple's new AirPods Pro 3, priced at $199, a reduction from the usual $249. This deal is notably absent from Apple's official website, yet over 10,000 units were sold on Amazon last month, indicating strong consumer interest.

The AirPods Pro 3 boast enhanced active noise cancellation, reducing up to twice as much unwanted noise compared to their predecessors. They also feature an upgraded acoustic architecture for fuller bass and clearer sound across all frequencies, alongside dynamic Spatial Audio for an immersive listening experience.

A standout innovation is the integrated heart rate sensing, which tracks workouts and syncs data to the Health app, effectively turning the earbuds into a fitness tracker. Additionally, Live Translation uses Apple Intelligence to facilitate real-time conversations across different languages.

Further enhancing their utility, the AirPods Pro 3 include a hearing health suite with a home hearing test, a hearing aid feature with Conversation Boost, and active hearing protection. Battery life extends up to eight hours with ANC or ten hours in Transparency mode. The earbuds also offer five ear tip sizes for a personalized fit and next-generation Adaptive EQ for customized sound.

Compared to competitors like Sony's WF-1000XM5 and Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, the AirPods Pro 3 offer a unique combination of health sensing, live translation, and deep Apple ecosystem integration at a competitive price point. With a strong customer reception and an impressive feature set, the Amazon discount presents a compelling opportunity for users to upgrade.
