Apple's New AirPods Max 2: Live Translation Arrives

Apple's premium AirPods Max are receiving a long-awaited update with the upcoming release of the AirPods Max 2 this spring. The new model introduces significant enhancements, including a new H2 chip that powers cleaner sound, improved spatial audio, and active noise canceling that is up to 1.5 times more effective than the original. These upgrades aim to enhance the listening experience for users.

Beyond audio improvements, the AirPods Max 2 will feature new functionalities such as live translation and conversation awareness, which automatically enables transparency mode when the user speaks. Additionally, users can control Siri with head gestures and utilize a built-in remote for iPhone or iPad cameras. The second-generation AirPods Max will be available in the same five colors as their predecessors and are priced at $549. Preorders are scheduled to begin on March 25, with availability expected in early April.
