The median prediction for OpenAI's annualized revenue at the end of 2026 was a staggering $30 billion. Respondents were also highly optimistic about Nvidia, estimating the company's worth to reach $6 trillion by the same year. Additionally, the survey revealed that 2030 is the most commonly expected year for an independent committee to declare the achievement of artificial general intelligence (AGI).
Beyond the financial projections, the survey also shed light on the industry's perception of venture capital firms and private tech companies. Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, and Sequoia were identified as the VC firms with the most envied AI portfolios. When asked which private tech companies they would invest in, the top choices were Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Anduril, and SpaceX.
