18 Sep
Summary
- AI agents autonomously managed trading on a deskside supercomputer.
- The experiment ran for a week on ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3.
- Agents operated locally, without cloud AI infrastructure reliance.

A collaborative experiment between ASUS and Poesis has successfully deployed agentic AI for autonomous trading in financial markets. The system operated for a full week on the ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3, a deskside supercomputer utilizing the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip. This powerful hardware provided up to 20 PFLOPS of AI performance with 748GB of memory.
During the test, all AI models and workflows ran locally on the ASUS ExpertCenter, proving that agents can function continuously in live markets without external cloud infrastructure. The agents autonomously handled investment research, risk management, and trade execution within predefined constraints.
This development signifies a move towards practical applications of agentic AI across industries, particularly in asset management. The ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3 is now shipping, offering secure, on-premises AI solutions for enterprises to develop and deploy advanced AI models.
