Mercedes-Benz has offered an early glimpse of its upcoming S-Class facelift, scheduled for a global debut on January 29, 2026. The updated model boasts a refined exterior, highlighted by a new grille design and updated lighting signatures. A notable return is the illuminated hood ornament, a classic Mercedes feature making its comeback.
The cabin receives a substantial upgrade with the introduction of the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). This advanced, in-house developed software platform will manage infotainment, vehicle functions, and over-the-air updates, ensuring the car remains technologically current.
Technologically, the facelifted S-Class will incorporate enhanced adaptive Airmatic suspension with an iDamping function for superior ride comfort. Most remarkably, Mercedes has confirmed the new S-Class will be Level 4 autonomous-ready, with testing already underway, positioning the brand at the forefront of self-driving innovation.
