Zimbabwe has announced their squad for the T20 International series against India, set to commence on Thursday at the Harare Sports Club. A notable inclusion is Tafadzwa Tsiga, a 32-year-old wicketkeeper-batter who has previously played 10 Tests for Zimbabwe but will be making his debut in limited-overs international cricket.
Captain Sikandar Raza will lead a team that also sees the return of all-rounder Wessly Madhevere and fast bowler Newman Nyamhuri, who has recovered from injury. Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa, and Tashinga Musekiwa have been excluded from the squad that recently secured a 2-1 victory over Bangladesh in a T20 home series.
The three-match T20 series will be played over a condensed period, with all fixtures taking place at the Harare Sports Club on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
