Cambridge United defender Zeno Ibsen Rossi is set to gain more first-team experience through a loan spell with League of Ireland Premier Division club Shelbourne. The transfer is for the rest of the current season.
Rossi, who is 25 years old, has made 12 appearances for Cambridge United this season. The club hopes this move will allow him to play more regularly.
His career started at AFC Bournemouth, and he also had loan stints with Scottish clubs Kilmarnock and Dundee. Rossi joined Cambridge United in 2022. He faced a hamstring injury in January 2025, missing the end of that season, but has since returned to play, including a start in a Carabao Cup win last August.
