Spin Legends Fuel Ansari's Cricket Comeback

Zeeshan Ansari's career has seen a significant revival in red-ball cricket, largely attributed to the guidance he received from spin icons Muttiah Muralitharan and Daniel Vettori during his time with Sunrisers Hyderabad. This mentorship provided him with crucial bowling insights.

Following a period of stagnation, Ansari made a notable comeback for Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His impressive domestic performances led to an India A call-up. Currently, the 26-year-old is also the leading wicket-taker in the UP T20 League, having secured 14 wickets for the unbeaten Meerut Mavericks.

Ansari is set to represent Central Zone in the Duleep Trophy. He emphasizes the importance of consistency and anticipating batsmen's moves for success in the red-ball format. He also praised Rinku Singh's leadership in the UP T20 League.
