Zens, a standout player from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, was named the 2026 Wisconsin Mr. Basketball. He led his team to a perfect 30-0 record and their third consecutive WIAA Division I Boys Basketball Championship during the 2025-26 season. In the championship game, Zens scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out four assists.
As a senior, Zens averaged an impressive 23.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game, shooting efficiently at 62% from the field and 42% from three-point range.
