Zara Tindall attended the Saudi Cup in Riyadh on Valentine's Day, marking her presence at what is described as the richest horse race ever held. She was photographed at the event in her capacity as patron of Retraining of Racehorses, a charity dedicated to the welfare of retired horses.
For the occasion, the royal chose a floral Zimmermann dress and a striking pink and burgundy headpiece from Camilla Rose Millinery, complemented by Emmy London footwear. This solo engagement occurred while her husband, Mike Tindall, was in the UK for the Six Nations Championship.
Zara's visit to Saudi Arabia followed her cousin Prince William's recent three-day royal tour of the country. Prior to her trip, Zara and Mike had enjoyed time in Australia and a lively outing in Fort Worth, Texas, where they visited a famous country music club.
Zara also recently launched a new collaboration with the countryside-inspired lifestyle brand Fairfax & Favor, showcasing their leather goods. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams commented on the possibility of Zara taking on a larger role within the Royal Family, but noted that their lucrative current lifestyle makes this unlikely.
