Karachi Kings' Viral Zampa Birthday Edit Divides Fans

The Karachi Kings franchise recently shared a distinctive birthday video tribute for their squad member, Australian leg-spinner Adam Zampa. The video adopted a nostalgic theme, drawing inspiration from 1990s wedding video aesthetics and featuring the Bollywood song 'Dil laga liya maine tumse pyaar kar ke.'

This unique approach quickly gained traction across social media platforms, leading to a variety of responses from users. While some lauded the creative concept and editing, others expressed disappointment or found the style to be 'cringe.'

Adam Zampa had previously delivered a match-winning performance for the Karachi Kings against the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League. His spell of 2 for 11 in four overs, which included a maiden, significantly restricted Lahore's scoring and earned him the Player of the Match award.

In a separate development within the league, Pakistan's opening batsman Fakhar Zaman was suspended for two Pakistan Super League matches. This suspension followed a finding by the match referee that he had breached the code of conduct by altering the condition of the ball during a recent game between the Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings.
