YouTube Star Jake Paul to Face Heavyweight Champ Anthony Joshua in Blockbuster Bout

According to multiple media reports, YouTube star-turned-boxer Jake Paul is set to take on two-time former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in a highly anticipated match expected to occur before the end of 2025. The bout will mark a significant step up in competition for Paul, who has previously faced former MMA fighters and aging boxing legends.

Paul's original plan was to face Gervonta "Tank" Davis, the current World Boxing Association lightweight champion, in an exhibition match scheduled for November 2025. However, that bout was scrapped after Davis became the subject of a civil lawsuit and a related criminal investigation. With the Davis fight off the table, Paul has now turned his sights to the much larger and more experienced Joshua.

At 6-foot-6 and fighting at weights of 250 pounds or more in his last five bouts, Joshua will present a formidable challenge for the 6-foot-1 Paul, who has competed at weights ranging from 183 to 227 pounds.
