Young Maaz Sadaqat etched his name in the history books, becoming the youngest CPL centurion at 21 with a blistering 112. His explosive innings at the top of the order, supported by opening partner Kirk McKenzie (unbeaten on 22), overwhelmed the Tridents.
The Tridents struggled early, falling to 24-4. Quinton de Kock (71) and captain Chris Green (57*) staged a recovery, posting a partnership of 114 runs to set a total of 144-6.
In response, Sadaqat and McKenzie launched an aggressive chase. Sadaqat reached his maiden T20 century in just 44 balls. Despite his departure for 112, the Kingsmen comfortably reached their target, with a wide from Kevlon Anderson sealing their victory and ending the Tridents' campaign.
