Summary
- Jasson Domínguez suffered an injury after hitting the outfield wall.
- He made a spectacular catch before colliding with the fence.
- Domínguez was tested for a concussion and shoulder injury.

New York Yankees left fielder Jasson Domínguez sustained an injury on Thursday after colliding with the outfield wall. The incident occurred one batter into the game when Domínguez made a remarkable catch at the wall to rob the opposing designated hitter of extra bases. Despite securing the catch, he suffered a hard impact with the chain-link fence.
Domínguez remained on the ground for a significant period as the Yankees' training staff attended to him. Medical personnel conducted an on-field concussion test and examined his left shoulder. Following these evaluations, Domínguez was seen wiping his eyes as he departed the field. Cody Bellinger subsequently moved to left field to replace him.
Domínguez had begun the season in Triple-A and returned to the majors recently following an injury to another player. If Domínguez is sidelined, the Yankees may consider recalling another player from the minor leagues to fill the outfield spot.
