Aman Sehrawat & Antim Panghal Gear Up for Asian Trials
10 Mar
Summary
- Trials for Asian Wrestling Championships postponed to March 17.
- Wrestlers' travel disrupted by West Asia crisis and flight issues.
- Aman Sehrawat and Antim Panghal to compete in preferred weight classes.

The selection trials for the upcoming Asian Wrestling Championships have been postponed to March 17. The decision to reschedule the trials, originally planned for March 9 and 10, comes after Indian wrestling teams experienced delayed arrivals from Albania. This delay was a direct consequence of flight disruptions stemming from the ongoing West Asia crisis.
Paris Olympics bronze medallist Aman Sehrawat and two-time World Championships bronze medallist Antim Panghal are set to participate. Although listed in different weight classes on the official eligibility list, coaches have confirmed they will compete in their preferred categories: Aman in 57kg and Antim in 53kg. A weight tolerance of one kg for lower weight categories and two kg for higher classes will be permitted.
